Travel for surrogate check-ins and appointment accompaniment is included in the Concierge package for reasonably local visits. If your surrogate is located far away, additional travel costs may apply and will be discussed and estimated with you in advance.

Are you a doctor, a lawyer, or paid by any agency?
No, none of the above. I'm an independent patient advocate, not a physician or an attorney, so I don't provide medical or legal advice. I always recommend working alongside your own doctor and attorney, and I'm happy to help you find both. I also don't accept commissions, referral fees, or any compensation from any agency, clinic, or law firm. This independence is the whole point of what I do.
Can you attend appointments, check in with my surrogate, or help in an emergency?
Yes, with the right authorization. I can join medical appointments in person or virtually as a calm, informed support person and note-taker. I can also do in-person check-ins with your surrogate, but always with her consent and coordinated through her own representative; I never replace her independent advocate. In an emergency, my role is to help you quickly reach the right people your agency, your doctors, your attorney. I'm not able to serve as an emergency contact of record, legal guardian, or caregiver for a child under any circumstances.
